Victorious week for Eesti Joonisfilm studio’s animated film A Demonstration of Brilliance in Four Acts

Last week was successful for the young animation directors Lucija Mrzljak and Morten Tšinakov – their animated film A Demonstration of Brilliance in Four Acts won a total of three awards. At the prestigious Etiuda&Anima festival, being held for the 25th time in Krakow, Poland, the film took home the Grand Prix – Golden Jabberwocky in the ANIMA competition. At Primanima, the Hungarian International Festival of First Animations, sound engineer Horret Kuus was awarded a special prize for sound design for the movie, and the film was also awarded a special prize by the international competition jury at the Sommets du cinéma d’animation, in Montreal, Canada.

The film was completed in 2018 in cooperation between Eesti Joonisfilm and the Croatian film studio Adriatic Animation. The production of the film was supported by the Estonian Film Institute, the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
