Lotte and the Moonstone Secret Won the Award for Best Animated Film in India

The animated film Lotte and the Moonstone Secret by Heiki Ernits and Janno Põldma won the main prize in the animated film category at the Children’s India International Children’s Film Festival in India. For the eighth year already, the Children’s India Festival was held this year on 9 – 13 January in 5 cities in India simultaneously (Bengaluru, Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli and Dharwad).

By now, Lotte and the Moonstone Secret has participated in 41 international film festivals and has won 9 awards.

The feature length animated film Lotte and the Moonstone Secret was completed in 2011 at Eesti Joonisfilm Studio. The Estonian Film Foundation, the Estonian Cultural Endowment, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia, the Media Programme, and the Latvian Film Foundation supported the completion of this film.
