Priit Tender’s Animated Film House of Unconsciousness Won the Main Prize at the GoShort Short Film Festival

Priit Tender’s animated film House of Unconsciousness participated successfully once again at an international film festival this weekend and brought home an important award.

The GoShort Short Film Festival was held in the city of Nijmegen in Holland for the seventh time and this year 300 films were selected for the programme out of over 3000 films. Priit Tender’s House of Unconsciousness participated in the festival’s European short film competition programme and won the main prize in the animated film category. The jury pointed out that the film is a revel of fantasy that uses a very rich language of animation and constantly transforms in surrealist directions.

House of Unconsciousness is just starting out on the festival circuit and by now the film has participated in two festivals and brought home an award from both festivals. At the end of March, the film was awarded the Grand Prix at the Holland Animated Film Festival in Utrecht.
